Sea Trout News Despite river levels being at an all time low there are still Sea trout slowly pushing through. Plenty are being seen on the lower stretches of both the Elwy and Clwyd. Most being taken after dark on the fly. Celtic Sea Trout Project If you would like to take part in the Celtic Sea Trout Project, we are supplying the envelopes/kits for scale samples to be collected. This project will help give us an understanding of the Sea trout populations etc. then in turn able us to improve their protection and management. Coastal Fishing The Bass have been around for a while now, get out and make the most of the good weather! If you are thinking of spinning or fly fishing for them you will have to go from Llandudno west, as this is where the water is at its clearest. Mackerel are being caught off shore now, so it shouldn't be long until we can have a go for them from the beach.
